    We all fell in love with Daniel's photo of artist Jennifer Chanter and knew this was our cover shot. A retired teacher, Jennifer has travelled the world, from top to bottom and many stops in between, finding inspiration for her life and her art.

    We wondered if we could pull it off, we wondered what summer would look like for all of us, and still do, and we wondered if we would be able to publish a summer issue of County and Quinte Living.

    We still don't know what the next months will bring, but we know you'll have something to read while you wait! We are proud to share the cover of CQL's Summer 2020 issue, prepared with an abundance of caution, and thankfully Daniel had the shoots completed last autumn.

    This issue is special, because of the times, because of the incredible people who are pulling together to keep our corner of the world functioning.

    The articles are all available at www.countyandquinteliving.com, but for now, I want to share our cover, because it's all about joy.

    Meet Dave Welsh of Evergreen Garden Trains, just south of Picton. This guy and his efforts are guaranteed to bring a smile to your day.
